Something Special: The Pride & Joy Project

Today, we have something special to share with you– a post featuring work from our friends Betsy and Toby over at The Pride & Joy Project! As they begin their own journey towards motherhood, this San Francisco wife-and-wife team has embarked on an amazing project documenting queer moms and their kids, photographing families around the Bay Area to produce the beautiful images below. While we here at A Bicycle Built for Two tend to focus on the couples (and the flowers and the cakes and the big party…), it’s truly a joy to get these glimpses into family life (and see some extremely cute babies!).

Check out The Pride & Joy Project’s website and Instagram for even more loveliness and further information about their work. (Betsy also does wedding photography, so if you fall in love with her style, you know where to look!)

I would love to also offer up that over the last couple of years I have received emails from couples asking about our personal journey to motherhood and I am always happy to share our experience, what we learned and what works for us. Just send an email from the “about” page and Maggie and Ashley will pass it on to me. -Tracey
