Wedding: Elise & Sam

Oh my. These wedding photos start off perfectly lovely with two gorgeous brides and a sweet glow of sunshine.

And then bam. It hits you. These brides are f*cking rad.

From Elise and Samantha: Well, Aug. 4 turned out to be the perfect wedding day. The weather was ideal, our dresses didn’t clash like we worried they would, and we felt so amazingly loved and supported. Our only regret is that we didn’t take a minute to just look around at how everything we planned came together. But our pictures, by David Newkirk, are amazing and captured the day perfectly. Brynn Larsen, with Blooms & Co., made all our flowers and bouquets look incredible, and our vegan cake was made by Salt Lake City’s wonderful vegan bakery, City Cakes & Cafe. The band is the Folka Dots. We received numerous favors from friends to help us make our day ours, and we couldn’t have been happier with it all!

If these two brides look familiar it’s because they were featured in what is probably my favorite engagement session.

Thank you for posting this, it is beautiful. These are my sister’s, Sam (the blond one) biologically and Elise because she loves my girl so much. I can’t express how grateful I am that they receive so much love and support from so many. I love these two more than anything, and wish them a lifetime of happiness.

I don’t know these two, but I have to say: I think they’re my favorite couple featured on your blog. Their honest and sweet story of their courtship moved me. You don’t see that too often, and it was refreshing to read back in their engagement photo section.

So needless to say, it’s so great to see their wedding pictures now!

You girls rock. All the best to you & a lifetime of happiness.

    Love,
    Mandy and Sara
(two girls with a similar story.)

I 100% agree. I would like to add that it is AWESOME that you post so regularly. I didn’t realize how little representation there is on the web, so your blog really fills in that gap :)
