Wedding: Kristy and Brianna

I’ve been spending so much time ogling homestead blogs that I’m now ready to pack up our city life and trade it for a calmer, greener, more peaceful and casual version in the Northwest. The grass is always greener…

… then I received this darling Washington lesbian wedding and it played right into those dreams.

From Leann: I’m an Eastern Washington state based documentary wedding and portrait photographer. Last month, I was lucky enough to get to photograph Kristy (in blue) and Brianna’s wedding in Spokane, Washington. The wedding was incredible – they had it at their house and in their backyard, and did almost everything themselves or with the help of their many awesome friends. The wedding was laid back, effortless and reflected their personalities as well as their relationship very well. The word to best describe their big day, when I think back to it, would essentially be “real” – their wedding was just so genuine and full of so much love. I had a blast photographing it, and I think other LGBT couples would have as much fun looking through the photos as I did shooting them.

This is just a teaser. If you want to see more from Kristy and Brianna’s big day go to Leann Arthur’s site.

Ah! This is absolutely adorable, and in my neck of the woods!

I’ve never even considered a wedding at home, and I think it’s brilliant! So sweet.
