Wedding: Christy + Stacy (and a new sponsor)

I have the pleasure of sharing a lovely same-sex wedding shot by our new sponsor, Organic Photography. Based in Cape Cod, Kristen and Joe from Organic Photography adhere to the philosophy of doing everything they can to preserve the earth while simultaneously providing gorgeous photos. And of course, they are LGBTQ friendly.

They succeed in this endeavor. As proof, we have the private ceremony of Christy and Stacy (and their children).

From Kristen & Joe: Christy and Stacy live in Rhode Island… and so they were quite torn…

In principle, they wanted to wait to be married until it became legal everywhere, but the legal benefit for their two children became paramount. They decided on a tiny gathering in Massachusetts, at the home of Christy’s grandmother to be followed by a huge celebration this summer.

The gathering was extraordinarily sweet…

The entire relaxed sense of the day makes me feel calm. And I’m in love with that stole!  Go to here to see more from this breathtaking day (and read some sweet words).

I love that stole too. What a lovely idea for cooler weather! I saw a winter bride recently that had the most stunning floor length fur cape. I hope this is a trend that catches on.
